Rhonda LeNai Jordan Antoine PD '13, PhD '13 completed her postdoctoral work at the MIT Energy Initiative and earned a PhD in the Engineering Systems Division (now the Institute for Data Systems and Society), in 2013. She holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in electrical engineering from Columbia University. Her work at MIT focused on power system development in developing countries, and she subsequently co-founded EGG-Energy, an energy-service company that connects low-income customers in Tanzania to electricity.

Also formally trained in dance, she became the youngest dancer selected to participate in the Dance Theater of Harlem residency program in classical ballet and, in 2007, danced alongside Savion Glover on ABC's Dancing with the Stars.

Currently, Jordan Antoine is a Senior Energy Specialist at the World Bank, where she works on energy investment and advisory projects across Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). She also leads the World Bank’s Geospatial Electrification Planning in the Africa Region project, which to date has leveraged cutting-edge Geographic Information System (GIS) analytics to inform World Bank energy engagements in 30 countries and underpin comprehensive electrification strategies and plans in 20 countries in SSA. Jordan Antoine was presented with the 2021 U.S. C3E International Award at the C3E Women in Clean Energy Symposium and Awards, held November 3-4, 2021.
