Through the Window and Into the Mirror: Career Conversation with Malik and Miles George (2022)

Through the Window and into the Mirror is a video conversation series about the experiences of African American STEM professionals today.

Malik and Miles George are Biological Engineering PhD students at MIT. They graduated from MIT with a bachelor's degree in Biological Engineering and a minor in African and African Diaspora Studies. Recently, they have started social media accounts on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Discord promoting STEM and higher education in fun and relatable ways. As Black students in the STEM community, they aim to spread science advocacy and diversity to students of all ages. They want to increase the number of K-12 students interested in the sciences and higher education through virtual presentations.
